"Charlene Boggins is a very kind, sensitive person. It takes a very special, strong person to go through what she had been through and to come out the other side stronger than ever. She has been such an inspiration and gift to me. She was introduced to me through my sister prior to my chemotherapy treatment. She took the time to listen and was very detailed with what I might expect during and after chemo. She was honest and made it very easy to accept my hair loss. What was difficult was being told it would be better for me if my hair was “pulled” out rather than shaved because of the possibility of folliculitis. However, it seemed to be much easier to accept because I knew she was skilled, knowledgeable and empathetic.

She treated me with respect and always had time for me. She was protective of my privacy and music and conversation was what she provided while visiting for my spa treatments. She treats a person with cancer holistically body and soul and to have someone truly understand the trauma of being diagnosed with cancer brought tears to my eyes on several occasions. I was allowed to cry as she cried with me through the pain. I have gone through my journey stronger than ever and now with a special friend who I continue to see for treatments and “therapy” so to speak. For all of this I say thank you Charlene! Anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her will see how dedicated she is to making a difference for this who need support during this time in their lives."
